Photography: Making miniatures

Today we’re going to talk about tilt-shift photography and other special effects.
I shot the top two photos today before class at Flagler College. They aren’t terribly sharp, which undermines the miniature effect. I took the bottom two photos in Havana, Cuba. They work better for me because the cars and people in the photos do indeed look like miniatures, like little toy models.
One student said this assignment reminded her of CSI episodes that featured the Miniature Killer, who built meticulous scale models of crime scenes.
