Showing of “Unfinished Journey”

A documentary called “Unfinished Journey” was shown Feb. 9 at Flagler College in St. Augustine.

The film follows African-American activists in the summer of 2011 as they commemorate key events that occurred in St. Augustine during America’s civil rights movement in the 1960s.

Mark Huelsbeck,  co-director of the documentary, spoke at the screening, which took place at the Gamache-Koger Theater.

Huelsbeck, an assistant professor at Flagler College, teaches classes covering mass media production, television and electronic production. He has a master’s degree in fine arts and a bachelor’s degree in religious studies, both from the University of Iowa.
According to his biography, his areas of expertise include documentary film, digital cinema production and post-production techniques.
